Reflecting back on what Team Aeros has accomplished in 2013 is truly inspirational. The Dragon Dream had its first float in January, and the Pentagon declared its success. In July, the Dragon Dream rolled out of the hangar for the first time and in September, the first flight occured.

2015 was another big year of accomplishment and new challenges for the team at Aeros! As we celebrated thecompany’s 20th Anniversary since Aeros made its first airship flight and start of our global airship operations, Aeros strengthened its product portfolio, intellectual property positions, and global operations enhancing vigilant/ persistent surveillance. In 2015, Aeros’ production team initiated construction of the world’s largest aircraft, the Aeroscraft ML866 (66 ton payload). Aeros has partnered up with the government of Ukraine to establish enhanced border monitoring capabilities with the installation of multiple EEWS (elevated early warning system) stations along the Eastern border, which will provide actionable intelligence and improve operational efficiencies. Aeros is also
now producing the world’s most advanced surveillance airship, the 40E ‘Sky Dragon,’ with completion and FAAcertification expected next year.
2014 has truly been a newsworthy year here at Aeros. The team delivered on Aeros’ legacy as an aerostat solution provider, deploying two new tactical designs aligned to compliment operators and evolving missions. Aeros also delivered new airships to new global customers, designed its next-generation airship now under construction, as well as new security and threat detection tools inspired by internal innovation and global news headlines. It has been a positive year, including IP advancements and broadened international regulatory approval, and we wanted to share some of the developments you may have missed!
