JUN 24, 2024 – (LOS ANGELES) – Aeros, a leading innovator in airship technology, is excited to announce that California and Nevada have been selected as the final contenders in its ongoing site selection process for a new manufacturing facility. This facility is poised to create thousands of well-paying jobs and stimulate significant economic growth in the chosen state.

The new manufacturing facility will not only meet the surging demand for Aeros’ groundbreaking zero-emission cargo airship but also set a new standard for sustainability in the aviation and logistics industry.

Designed with cutting-edge sustainable technologies such as geothermal heating/cooling, waste and grey water recycling systems, the facility will minimize environmental impact and serve as a model for sustainable manufacturing practices.

Joseph Rietman, VP of Facilities Planning, Design, and Construction at Aeros, stated, “We are thrilled to have reached this critical milestone in our site selection process. California and Nevada offer unique advantages aligning with our strategic goals and operational requirements. We look forward to working closely with the local governments and communities to secure the best incentives possible and determine the best fit for our new facility.”

The site selection process involved rigorous evaluation criteria, including infrastructure, workforce availability, logistical advantages, and community support. Aeros has worked collaboratively with state and local officials, economic development organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive assessment.

“By incorporating green technologies and energy-efficient designs, we aim to lead the aviation industry in sustainable manufacturing. The positive impact on the environment, combined with economic benefits for the local community, makes this project a win-win for everyone involved,” said Igor Pasternak, Aeros CEO.

As part of the final evaluation phase, Aeros will conduct detailed site visits, further discussions with state and local authorities, and perform additional analyses to make an informed decision. The company will make a final site selection announcement in the coming months.  With the competition between California and Nevada close, incentive packages are expected to play a major role in the selection.
